Default kuryakyn Hypercharger air cleaner

Anyone running the kuryakyn Pro-r or standard hypercharger air cleaner on thier 01-06 dyna's?

Looking for input on how these compare with the the Ness/SE air cleaners. I love the look but would like to read some feedback first.

Hey Chris,

Was just wondering where you are from? I went to school with a Chris Willis, and was wondering if you are that same person.

I was thinking of a hypercharger for my Bob, a Velocity stack or a spike would also look pretty sweet.

If anyone got some pics on their bikes We'd all love to see them.

This has been beat before, but ....

They breathe better than a stock unit.
Other high performance breathers flow more air than the Hypercharger.
Why add something that has moving parts where none are needed?
Look up the definition of hype: 1 : DECEPTION 2 : PUBLICITY ; especially : promotional publicity of an extravagant or contrived kind

Personally I like the look but i haven't seem them work, only in one picture which I can no longer find. Seems like everyone has a SE air cleaner and after I saw what you get (my buddy did the upgrade on a fatboy) I am looking for something other than 150$ filter upgrade.

What other high performance breathers are there?

Was wondering what the life of the flappers are, how well they work, and if they flow more air than a Ness or SE upgrade.

I ride with a couple of metrics that had them. They like to call them "Fly catchers". Once again, they flow more air than stock, but not as much as most others.

I was looking at them at first, heard all the same stuff but I do have one thing to add, they seem to actually work better if you simply remove the butterflys. So if you really like the look you might want to try setting it up like that.It would end up being a fancy airfilter cover that would probably flow about as well as a stock football with an SE filter.
