Glad to hear your going to make it, looks like your front fender is missing.
I wish I had a dealer like that near me.
Two years ago a guy cut me off and I had no choice but to eat pavement.
It took 3 months to get it back. I purchased my new bike from another dealer and don't go there anymore.
Good that the guy is taking care of things.
You have a great attitude, someone else would be giving it up after your experiences.

I have the brand new fender, and a brand new set of crash bars, didn't want 'em and I'm gonna sell 'em. As far as giving it up...Well, I started when I was 16, and in most cases, I feel more safe on my scoot than I do in a car, don't know why, I just do.

Just read through this thread and WOW. It's great to hear that you are doing well. Things could have been much worse. Your guardian angel certainly had your back that day. Glad to see that the bike got taken care of and that you're doing ok, so to speak. Hopefully your thigh won't be in much pain. God bless and take care!

Thanks man, I appreciate it, I decided not to go thru another surgery, my leg ain't hurtin, and the rod thats in it is only bent about 1mm. So my orthopedist said I should be fine. The guy that hit me put the money for the surgery off to the side in case it gives me probs later on down the road.

Wow, good you're ok! That bionic leg you have worked pretty good!

Now that's a reason for a crash guard! It did it's job!

you were blessed man. I can not count the number of times I have been or others I know have been hurt only to be left holding the whole bag. Your bike got fixed , your ok and the guy who hit you set money aside for your surgery... Wow.. Nice. Congratulations on having it all work out so well.
