This is just another reason why I carry a 357 mag when I ride. If I am seriously injured when that someone runs the red light and hits me. I hope I can get to my gun and jester to the driver to come closer and listen to my last dying words and shoot the mother fu*ker in the head.

CC# that be the least he give me for not putting my foot up his ***. Go all out at the dealership. 113 S&S motor hell yes, BDI open primary thats going on to. While you got his number tell your bubbies to bring there bikes to get worked on to. Maybe this would teach the SOB to stop at a red light.

Wow...amazing that you could even stand-up after that type of impact. Not to say your prior accident was a blessing (pin/rod in leg), but I bet it helped keep your leg intact/stable. Heal well & the bike will get fixed - glad you're OK.

I'm glad you weren't hurt worse from this. Looking at the pic of your bike got me thinking, how much worse do you think you would have been hurt without the crash bar to take some of the impact?

It is amazing that you are up and walking, and it is great that he is willing to open his card to fix your bike, but the medical bills aren't going to be paid by the dealership. What is his plan for that? I would have the dealership check the neck of your bike... it may not look bent but to bend the front forks and destroy your crash bar it might be cracked so you may have to use that CC to get a new bike... I had a girl friend that hit a stone wall (MUCH slower) with her crash bar and cracked the frame in 2 places. No one else at the scene could see anything wrong with the bike (save the crash bar). And she rode it home at 70+ mph with a cracked neck.
