I recieved my new Burly Slammer shocks and Progressive drop-in kit yesterday. I went ahead and threw on the Burly's (very easy process) and now I'm on the fence if I want to install the front kit. I like how the front end sits, but can't decide. What do you guys think? (Sorry for the quality, taken from my iPhone).
I dig the look alot and am not sure about the front... Id say slam it down.. if you dont like it you can always change it back... man I LOVE those burley shocks and kits ... I know the topic has been beaten to death on here but Im putting a 180 on the rear of my 07 SB and ride two up quite a bit... Im thinking it would rub on my fender and generally not be good.... Im hoping when Im riding my fat a$$ (270 pounds... shes about 125) makes up for the NON lowered shocks haha
I dropped my back end without doing the front. I thought about it but have never done it since I'm liking the way it is now. That's something you can always do later should you want to.
I only lowered the rear only, I love the slight angle it gives and I think it looks better. As far as ride quality, I haven't noticed any difference from stock.
I would go ahead and lower the front if I had the kit, I like the way the look lowered only in the rear, but I think when the front is lowered it gives the bike a completely different look.
