sweet bike but it looks like the coppers caught you

I have the heavy duty 440's on mine and really like them, but if I had it to do over again I would go with the same ones you did.

looking forward to seeing your bars when you get them on.

funny that you mention it, because with my burly slammers that's the only place it hits is at the right passenger peg bolt!

How far down did that kit set you though? Guessing more than an inch? Did you do front AND rear?

I am waiting for my new chrome front end to come in before I put the springs into the front....

i just lowered the rear because i wanted it to keep my rake look...the shocks are 10.5 inches and the drag book said the stock shocks were 12.5 (i never measured them myself). so that was 2 inches which is a big difference so i kinda expected it to happen....its not bad it just barley rubs the corner of the fender but im gonna take it off and trim it anyways sometime before spring. but other than that all i had to do is take off the belt guard and nothing else hits or rubs.

How do you like those grips, Dredd? I think those are the same ones I've been looking at...same black pegs too. Love the new look. I just have a hard enough time with scraping stuff when I turn that I fear if I lower it anymore I will lose way too much manuverablility.

I love the pegs and the grips....very comfortable, and you are not going to slip off either of them when you're getting into in hard. They are PM grips, can't remember what model.

I have scraped my pegs a few times here and there, so I am sure I'll do it now that it is sitting a little lower, but I only went down an inch, so prolly not too bad.

As far as the stock shocks, I was pretty careful to measure mine before I ordered the 11" shocks.....the stockers were 12".....not 12.5. Hopefully I don't hit that fender, don't think it will be a problem, we'll see.

yeah onece you lower the front it will be bad *** i put the prog 11 in on mine although it is a 05 wide, than i put the racetech springs and gold mod in from lowered it one in, man it handles like a slot car the rear is alot harsher i wish they would make a shock that lowers and absorbes shock , but i am a rub so i like the style and look, more than i like touring if i wanted a soft ride i would of bought one of those couch bikes
