Default Street Slammer powder color

Hey guys,

I'm getting ready to pick up a set of Street Slammers from Joe and have them powdered black. Do you guys think I should do gloss black or flat black? The bike is going to be black pearl. I think gloss would go with everything else being gloss, but the flat black might give it a cool contrast. Opinions?

Any pics of your bike so we can try to see the whole package? I have Street Slammers and they came in a satin black.

Well the bike is disassembled right now, I have "before" pics, Aztec Orange, in the middle of a ton of mods. I am thinking gloss black since they come in satin, gloss will be a bit different. The set I am getting are chromed but he is going to powder them for me.

if everything else your getting powdered is going to be glossy get them glossy. not that the fashion police will stop you either way.

My bob is gloss black and all the powder was done in gloss black, but when I got my Z bars they were satin black. I thought it would be ok but after I mocked them up I had to tear it down have them blasted and redone in gloss black, thats how out of place they looked IMO

if your main color is gloss do gloss, if you do flat it will look like you bought a part off some random and put it on rather than planned out the whole vision of the scoot bud... keep it simple, i always tell my customers the rule of 3 (3 colors max on a bike and in some cases on accent color, and yes chrome is a color) when you get into more than that things look all over the place.
