My new Dyna Custom Touring solo seat
So finally took some pics of the recently acquired custom touring solo seat. The history of it is that a guy bought the Mustang solo w/ backrest and sent it off to world renowned Russell Cycle Products (day-long saddles). Anywho... From start to finish this seat cost about $1600 (yikes) and is by far THE BEST and most comfortable seat I have ever sat on.. It puts me up a bit higher than I'd like to, but man - it's like seating on your favorite chair or couch - no kiddin. It's full leather both backrest and saddle... has some custom weight distribution shape thingy that to some may look funny... but don't judge a book by its cover. It is also heated so in a cold weather - the rider is golden. Hello

Yep - definitely function over form. But, if there is a place to do it, it's the saddle. After riding all day - that is where your bike is gonna "remind" you of it, and being comfy is the way to go.
If I was skootin' around town, I might swap it out. But it would be on there for sure for the long haul.
