Cool 160 tire

Hey guys it time for a rear tire i have been running metz 150, has anyone put a metz 160 on there 05 wideglide, mine is lowered one inch, it would cost a fortune to change the swingarm ect, to put a 180 on there i hear you have to also change fender not worth the money but i was thinking a 160 would look a little wider also thinking about putting a fatboy rear wheel on

I have been running a Metz 160 on my 05 WG for years, on my third one. It is tight and you need to make sure your alignment on the rear wheel is right on.
No need to change anything but the tire.

Think a 160 would fit a '03 FXDX?

Yes, as above. Be aware that the actual fitted width of tyres is often different to their stated size (for example, they may be several mm wider) and this differs between brands, so it is not an exact science. With luck you will just get one in and clear your belt guard, as 8541hog says. On my old Evo, when fitting a wider tyre, I modified the belt guard to get clearance for the tyre, so that is a back-up way out.

Depends on the aspect ratio, but they will be within fractions, not inches on the same size wheel.
