This is what you want. I have one for the wife's bike. I have the Harley version for my own. I can't tell the difference and in fact I wouldn't doubt if DelTran makes Harley's for them.

+1 on the Deltran. Screw it onto the wall plug in the connector and your good to go. You can also use the cable hardwired to the battery and put a 12V female socket somewhere on the bike for accessories. Plus if you start the bike and run it for 10 minutes or so that is not long enough to burn off the condenstation in the pipes or motor. I got this one.

Deltran makes the HD one along with several others that are relabeled and sold. The worst thing you can do for that bike is start it up and let it sit without actually ridding it long enough to fully heat the oil and internals up. When it cools you simply draw moisture in that condenses in the oil and eventually breaks it down. If you can't ride it, don't start it. Of course it's your bike do as you please.
