I also like floorboards. The reason I DIDN'T go for the Wyatt boards is because the are not adjustable. They look better, and are stronger but when you bolt them on the bike your stuck with where they are. Most of the reviews I have seen about them are people complaining they are too high. That isn't a problem with the cheaper adjustables. Anyways just wanted to give you one more opinion.

Check out my album and following threads for pics and additional info on FXDP floorboards:

New Dyna floor boards

FXDP Floorboard Kit on 06 Later Dyna

https://www.hdforums.com/forum/dyna-g...oorboards.html

The FXDP setup does not mount on 06 and later models.

06 and later Dyna's require the VTwin set, currently available V-Twin Mfg p/n VT-27-0920

A link to the Instruction Sheet is in my database:

Heres a close up of them bolted directly to the stock location. Same type only I opted for the moons instead of the rectangle.:

And heres them with the dogbone extension:

Oh yeah, you can mount them with or without the dogbone. Totally up to you. The dogbone sticks them out an inch further as well. I'm right at 6ft, 190 lbs.

I had a deer hit me, and while I dont have as many screws as you, I share in your discomfort.
That is untill I fabed these Kuryakyn RK Iso boards. Ankle still gets stiff but having the extra space to move it around helps so much.

Think you will be happy w/ boards. Put a set on my 03 FXDL and love them also have the linbar with a place for my feet. spend alot of time there. When I bought my FLHRC the GF liked the bosrds sooooo much I put a set in place of the passenger pegs on the lowrider. Good luck
