Bye Bye Buckhorns
I have an 07 FXD with stock buckhorn bars that I would like to change out for something more rider friendly. Problem is that I would like to keep the cables as I kind of did things *** backwards and swaped out the stock cables for braided lines. If anyone has stock length cables on their Dyna with either pullbacks or drag bar combo, i would appreciate hearing from you. Thanks and ride safe (for those of you lucky to be riding right now).

My 07 had drag bars on it when I purchased it. The cables were the stock length and were way too long and stuck out like a soar thumb. He had the stock setup so I put back the factory bars and risers until I decide on what I want to do. So as far as your question goes, Yes they will work with drag bars but you might not be happy with the look.

I first replaced the buckhorns with 4-1/2" risers with 1-1/2" pullback along with drag bars that pulled back 3-1/2" and were 27-3/8" wide. The handling was the best I'd experienced, but the stock cables were too long.
I next went with the same bars, but with 8" risers with about the same pullback, the cables now fit, but I lost a bit of finesse in the tight cornering. The taller risers seemed to allow too much twist in the bars, I'd lost that tight feeling in the steering that the shorter risers gave me.
My next change was to add 30-1/2" wide fat drag bars to the 8" risers, the cables still fit fine, but I was still wanting more precise cornering, so I installed solid bushings. This was better, but I was still wishing for the feel and finesse of the lower risers. I liked the wider bars, though.
I finally decided to just buy some fat t-bars with 6" of rise, about 5" to 6" of pull-back and about 31-1/2" wide. These will eliminate the riser/bar clamp twist, allow for less flex and still keep the cables at the correct length.
My new t-bars have arrived, but my bike has been torn down for two months, so I haven't had a chance to install them yet, much let ride it.
