I promise, you won't be disappointed. The other nice thing is the 26 different options with the BAL. It even has a parade mode for rallies. Very cool. I've had people tell me they have to look away when I brake because it's so bright. Daylight running is also very bright. Good luck.

IMHO, you can't put a price on doing everything you can to make sure others see you. I also installed a PIAA bulb for the headlight. It was another good mod since there is not an LED headlight option, that I could find, for my 04 WG.
I just installed a BAL-3ST and can say that this is the BEST mod I have done. The price stung quite a bit, but this thing will get you noticed in a hurry. You can program a number of different settings for flash patterns and intensities, and with mine set on "low", people behind me will back off instantly if I just touch the brake for a couple of seconds. I'm always looking for a great deal and this is the best lighting product on the market - at full retail!

Like Dave said, plug n' play, no eq and I got the security screws, too....

Lady ran into me and munched my brake light. Since her insurance co was paying the $93 for the factory light, I paid the difference and had the dealer install the LED light. While it's not as bright as the BAL, it's alot brighter than the stock unit.

Really hope this is a quality light, although the price would hint otherwise. I can't buy the Kury one in good conscience, knowing the controversy over its brightness...BAL's products are so nice but the price tag is painful for being just a light.

Has anyone just tried the led bulb that I've seen on Ebay? I believe it spins or something along that idea! Just curious!

That's what I was wondering... I don't recall anything about a "controversy".
