Love the bars. I got a set of the LA Chopper Z Bars in 16. I left the turn sigs on the bars and I got some mini black mirrors ans some black levers. That really made it look good.

Figure that Carlini's run 2" higher than a regular 16" bar. +8" or +10" should do it. I sell Magnums too if you are interested. I run the Carlini Flyin' apes on my ride.

That's going to look sick when it's done. You can always relocate the sigs to the FWD controls while you got the bike apart already. I cut mine out of flat stock steel. But here's something to get you started if you go this route.

I also have the carlini with there risers they are simply the best out there i also went with the magnum cables the chromelite, they make them in colors you could get the black chromlites they would look killer just use some welding rods or thick wire and mock up what you need best way to get exactly what you want and order directly from them they make them to order

JaronB That has to be the best looking place for the turn signals ive seen yet, very good idea. I think i will be looking at doing the same, only thing i would do different would be put the sucked lens covers on. Very cool idea thanks for sharing.

No prob!! Reese did a very good write up in the link I posted above. I have the smoked lens on there now and looks a lot better. Here's the best pics I can find with the smoked lens. Eventually I'll get the chrome bulbs so you don't see the orange when the bike is off.

Well I slept on it and today decided to do the wire extensions myself, so I got the wire, solder and iron out, along with some shrink wrap and got that out of the way. Hooked up the dash board, put in main fuse and turned the key on and everything works.
Re measured cables and front brake line and calling Dr Vtwin Monday and placing my order. Can't wait to get it finished and go for a ride, sitting in it the bars feel great hands are a inch or two over my shoulder, didn't want to go that high But its there, hope I don't get no beef from 5-0.
