Yes , I put the baffles in or they would have been way too loud!

Yes, changing oil will suck but the look > than the hassle to me..

The air filter is an S&S teardrop style with their " old school cover"

I just sent back a set just like those due to the lack of access to the oil fill. Loved the look, but if ya can't change the oil, ya wont ride long. Really bummed me out. I hope they work better for you. I love the look of those pipes! Keep us posted on how the oil change or check works out.

Is there wiggle room to remove the dip stick, hard to tell from the side shot. That cap is plastic too, so I hope it does not melt.
Why would someone even design a set of pipes where you can't check the oil level or add oil to the engine?

yea you can unscrew the cap and wiggle the dipstick out but taking the whole pipe off is a matter of 10 mins if i have to end up doing that to actually change the oiil

Ya, looking at it again it does not look like too much trouble to just remove the rear pipe, except damaging the header gasket. Is there a bracket that ties the two pipes together and to the case, they don't just hang off the heads do they? I was more concerned with being able to just check the oil level between services.

Even if you don't notice any damage on the header exhaust gasket you'll still need to install a new gasket. Headers go into the exhaust port with a lot of play and the gasket crush seals as you tighten the bolts. And once crushed the gaskets will never seal correctly or completely again.
