I'm looking to get floorboards for my 94 Dyna Lowrider. Can't be too many folks making those, but do you have any suggestions.

Getting older, looking for comfort in everything now...well, at least on the Dyna. I still have the old kick shovel birthyear bike.

 

This worked for me.. Kuryakyn Passenger boards.. Install on peg mounts
I have since moved them back a bit, as you can see in my Sig Pic...

You might be able to order some from the MoCo. I have a 2003 FXDP (Police Bike) and they come standard on it.

 

I would love to do something like this to my 07 Bob. Are those boards sturdy enough? I read on the Kuryakyn website that they were not to be used to stand on or as a support device. Is that true with they way you have those mounted?

 

Mine have been very solid, however they are mounted as you would mount a peg, This means that there is only a center brace,,(see attachments) I feel they are as solid as pegs at this point, But if you were to stand on the back side it might rotate backwards striping the teeth.. But you would really have to stomp on it.. I'm very comfortable with mine...

That is very cool, and thanks for the pictures. Makes it easier to see how they're mounted. That Kuryakyn stuff is awesome!

 

When this topic came up a couple of months back, my first reaction to floorboards on a Dyna was Ewwwwww! But, I have had a change of heart. I've seen some pics and some in person and I think they work well with the lines and style. I used to have them on my old softail and I really miss them myself.
