Default Tryed to ride yesterday morning.

So I go outside yesterday morn and go to start the bike and when I go to pull the clutch in it feels stuck. It was 17 degrees out so yes it was cold and when I really pull on the clutch and it finally pulls back. Then I realize that it wont relaese. It is stuck open(disengaged). I keep on messing with the clutch lever and what happens, the black five hole levers my wife got me for xmas snapped off in my hand. That was a bad morn. So I return home yesterday morn and the clutch has thawed out and was back to normal. Now im left with a broken clutch lever and scratching my head. I should have started it up a little earlier and let it warm up so the tranny and clutches could have warmed up. Oh well, $38 lesson learned.

It sounds like you had water in your cable housing and it froze. It happens all the time on my snow blower.

Hope you are changing your oil little more frequently. If you see the white milky substance on the oil dipstick then you have condensation in your oil. The only way to get rid of it is ride, ride, ride.

Don't force anything and you'll save some bucks in the future. A hairdryer works wonders. Inject some denatured alcohol in your cable housings and follow with cable lube, WD-40 will dissipate moisture too, but I like writing "denatured alcohol" ... so I did.
