Yes, just the two mounts. The fairing is snug against and around the headlight so it does not tilt,

 

I know this is an older thread but i have an 01 fxdx with a hd 1/4 fairing and i dont care for the way it looks to much to me it looks to wide and not quite tall enough plus the way its mounted it sticks out about 2 inches from my forks so Im looking into getting a ness fairing like this. Is mounting really that bad? Thanks for your help your bike looks sweet

 

You just have to take your time with it, it's no that bad. I did it myself but two sets of hands would help.
