Default would like your opinion...

the stock rear pulley has always bothered me.

wrinkle/denim black in the center with that weird dull silver ring?

doesn't match the bike in ANY way.

i was thinking since pretty soon i'll be dropping the rear wheel and the pulley will have to come off anyway...

going gloss black powder on the pulley?

what say you?

yes? no? other ideas i haven't considered?

here's the bike as it sits now from that side.

Gloss black would look alright but I don't think it would be that noticeable of a change. What if you polished out the raw aluminum ring around the outside.Just a thought.

yeah ed i considered the "bang for my buck" factor of pc-ing the pulley.

it's just i'm dropping nice coin for the rims i ordered, and once they're installed, my bike will be pretty much cosmetically done, i just don't wana leave anything looking "unfinished" so i wana get that pulley lookin right.

polished is a good thought, thanks.

The more I look at it the more I think gloss black would tie in nicely with the rest of the bike. And it would look noticeably different if you either powdercoated over the silver strip or like I said polished it out.

I'd go the other way....black ring, polished/chrome center. If your keeping the stock pulley, might as well do something different and flip it.

yeah i thought about that as well, could look really cool considering that's gonna be the set up on my new rims as well.

i was just concerned about having to PC the ring and chrome the center...seems like two steps.

I cant remember your rim/spoke/nipple/hub finish combos. If you are going black on all of it I would do PC Gloss black, its ez enough to change later if you wait its no big deal.

Gloss black will be hot, but the wrinkle on there currently matches the Primary well also.

No matter what you do your bike is gonna look Pimp with those wheels.
