Thanks for the links. Green pearl I guess was replaced by that Custom Apple Green in 2011. Wonder if it is the same as Dragonfly Green? I haven't actually seen a 2011 Green FXDC yet.
I still like the extra seat on the 2011 FXDC. The FXDB looks great for the same money, but my wifey wants to ride once in a while. I would like a windscreen and a passenger backrest though.
There is something about a Dyna that keeps me looking at them.

Hey Lexington,
If you like the FXDC, get what you want.
It costs more, but buy the detachable sissy bar and windshield. It is nice to have the option of not having them on.
I wouldn't count on your wife being comfortable on the stock seat.
If you're looking to do any kind of distance with a passenger, a seat upgrade is a must.

I bought a brand new black 2011 Super Glide Custom back in October for $10,700. right off the showroom floor with nothing added to that except GA state sales tax. Another dealer in the Atlanta area had priced me more than that for a leftover 2010 standard model. That also included the security system but no ABS.
Deals are out there.

I think that I will get the detachable windshield and backrest - sooner of later. And a seat that feels good would be great! I can just look at the passenger seat and see that it ain't much more that a pad to perch on. The standards last year didn't have the passenger seat. I really need to start looking outside of my area for the bike.
