I found this website today and they had a great deal on the seat I wanted. (Mustang Vintage Solo Seat 76107 (No Studs, No Conchos)). What worries me is that they had it for $127 and everywhere else has it for $180+. I looked around the internet and I only found one person saying they bought a seat from them (in a vtx forum). If you have worked with them let me know. If not I will post back in a couple day and let you know if I wasted $127 trying to save $50.

 

Never heard of them but it sure would be nice to find some one discounting those seats. They are my favorite aftermarket seat, but darn if you don't pay for it.

 

I bought both Mustang 2-piece Vintage seats I purchased on eBay. One seat was brand new and sold by a retailer who is Mustang-authorized dealer. The other seat was purchased from a private party and was in like-new condition. Both came to me in the original Mustang shipping boxes. The seat I bought new was for my previous bike and would not fit my FXDL. It was in perfect condition, and I sold it on eBay with no problem. The buyer sent an email saying how satisfied he was with the seat and the money he saved.

There are lots of legitimate retailers on eBay selling new Mustang seats and many of them sell the seats at much-lower than list price, usually with free shipping. You may also luck out, like I did, and find a seat from a private party that is like new or like the guy who bought the seat from me. Good luck!

 

I have gotten a couple emails from them, one letting me know that they got my order and 2 others letting me know that the seat shipped. The first shipping confirmation had the wrong city on it and the second confirmation had the seat shipping to my home and not my office. No tracking number for FED-EX on either of them. But I feel a little better because all of the emails are coming from chromeworld.com which has been around for a while and has a pretty good track record. I am supposed to get the seat on 1/3/11. I will let you guys know.

I have that same seat and I love it! It feels like a new seat everytime I sit on it. Hope you like it as well.
