I'm looking into getting the HCC 14"s with the stainless cable kit. How is the quality of the cables? Would it be worth the extra $$$ to get the Harley cables?

They use motion pro cables, the quality is fine.

Harley cables over here are crazy money so couldn't tell you is it worth the extra your side of the pond.

I got mine from hcc. Their add says, motion pro or drag spec. Tell them you want drag spec. cables. I tried both. Just my opinion, but quality is much better. As good as hd. good luck

I went the Carlini Gangster Apes 16". After installing them I thought: "Sh**, those things are way too big. But look cool as hell."
But, actually, they are extremly comfortable and I was surprised how easy they are to ride with, in terms of feel and manueverability. Anything bigger than a set of 16s has to be uncomfortable though (Im 6' even).

Nice work with the install!

I just got my apes and cables in from HCC. They're supposed to be the 14" narrows but definitely don't look like it. They are really wide at the base and are not much taller than the stock ones. Now i have to wait until Monday to call HCC and find out what the hell they sent me. I'll attatch a pic of the stock bars with the new ones. I'm leaving the new ones wrapped because i'm sure they're going back. What do you guys think? Do they look right to you? Leepetersusn, does this look like what you got? The bars in your pics look narrower at the base and taller than what i got.
