Thanks for all the great comments.

heinigerich, I'm 5'8" and these fit perfectly. I'll take them on a longer ride over the weekend and see if I need to make any more adjustments for comfort, but I think I've got 'em where they need to be.

trappermarc, These are Hill Country Customs 14" Narrow and I bought the kit from them that included all the cables.

wideglidebob, The cables are plenty long enough. I just ran all the cables back where they needed to go. I mean, I could probably clamp the brake line to the handle bars, but the clutch and throttle cables, would be bound up. I think it looks fine.

I love my 14" Chubby apes. I bought the same thing a couple years ago from HCC with the precut wires. Best mod ever. Also the most comfortable ride.

hey shadow, I've got some 16's on the way. Where did you get your cables from. I'm thinking +6 inch for the cables. Did you get them in au or US.

I ordered from HCC where I got my bars all you do is state your riser hieght and they do the rest I did have a set order off (LA choppers or the Baron (same place) but those f...kers wanted $375 shipping to AU so I went with HCC))

If you just ordered the cable kit I guess shipping wouldn't be that much but no way i was going to pay $375 for some cables a wrench and some bars (this would be from LA choppers or the baron)

I have heard some stories about HCC but I cant really say anything as my bars are still on the way should be here this week i hope, got some new grips and a tank lift and a 24" sissy bar as well so I am looking forward to it all getting here.

then my new rims in the new year and I will be set,
