Another Baffle Option on the cheap

Another Baffle Option on the cheap
So after talking to Quentin (HD Tech) about what I wanted as well as wanting to keep the stock head pipes with the Rush Slipons he pointed me to Big City Thunder Baffles.
Simple install inside the head pipe and remove what ever baffle in the Muffler body/can.
https://www.bigcitythunder.com/shop/...categories.asp
I was told to go with the Original at $79.95 rather than the QQ which is a quieter baffle at $129.00.
Bike sounds pretty bad now and can't wait to see how it sounds and runs next year...January 8-10 there abouts.

What Dyna do yo have? If it was a Street Bob, you could have had an awesome setup using the stock cans with a Cycle Shack Baffle for $40.00.

The BCT baffles can be done for about $.75 . Just weld a washer to and eye bolt that goes through your header. Pretty much the same result. Just saying. That is pretty much what it is. A washer in a tube that fits into your header pipe. Grab a couple exhaust ends from an auto parts store. Weld a washer in between the two fittings. Now put the fitting into your head pipe drill through both the head pipe and your contraption. Put a bolt through it. Put you mufflers on. Voila! A baffle in a header pipe. For about $8.00. Seems crazy I know, but the more you read on here, and the more you talk with older motorcycle guys. The more you look at your bike differently, and come up with ways to recreate what you see that may cost or sound like a few hundred bucks.

While making things is a great idea I would have to learn to weld, run down a welder, make any number of botched baffles (if I ever got it right) so $80.00 is cheap to me.
As for the Baffles, the Original models install inside the Head Pipe just before the slipons (Part # 2003-2004)

It is a good baffle. $80 isn't much for the sound they produce. Great purchase. Can you get up a video of the sound? I thought about going this route when I did my baffle change, but I didn't want to drill into the head pipe.
Try to get us a video. We love videos.
