Hey all sb owners, and those that are experts in the realm of sb. I want to swap out the tail light, and keep the tail light in the fender location. But after looking at after market ones, I was wondering if I am going to have to drill through the stock fender. Seems the only ones ive seen only have the bolt holes on the side, not the three holes the stock light has. Any input would be much appreciated. Thanks fellas and ladies.

Ps ive used the search feature of the website, but havent found anything about having to modify the fender.

What light are you trying to put on it? Just about every tail light you can get, tomb stone, stock off you old fender, etc....when applied to your new fender will require some mod work to the fender! That all have different mounting designs and there for require different mount locations onthe fender. If you take the light you want to install and locate it on the fender where you want it (hopefully it will cover the holes currently on the fender) this should tell you what mods you will need to make.
