10mm 12 point. Sears has them. You also need a 10mm for battery posts.

Regards,

Bill

I actually went out and bought the reverse tourx[sm=headbang.gif] they are not cheap and don't work. Billnourse got it, 10mm 12 point. This is my first Harley and I was cussing at the engineer for this one. I was thinking that you need a special tool or something. Some things I just don't get like the primary chain case cover, allen bolts for the main cover and tourx for the inspection cover, same size thread? What were they thinkin on that one?[sm=confused06.gif] I guess that as I go thru my bike I will come across more of these mysteries. [sm=icon_cheers.gif]

I feel the same way but in addition to experiencing these mysteries, I seem to be gaining a lot of tools that are used exsclusively on my bike. I just bought my 12pt socket set last week. I couldn't believe that for the same part (caliper) I was purchasing a 1/4 inch 12pt and a 10mm socket. Fortunately I found a stand alone 10mm but I had to by 8 in a set to get my 1/4 inch for use on the brake pad pins. I guess the tools cost less than the rate of labor and I get to keep the tools.
