**updated 12/23/10**

okay i figured id post some pics of everything im doing to the pipes.

i havent completed this yet so ill update it as i go....

i purchased the pipes used off of craigslist= $250

i had the collector and clamps ceramic coated and mount powdered = $50

sandblasted the rust off the headers= free (at work)
BBQ painted the headers= $5

2 rolls of 2"x15 ft titanium dei wrap and hose clamps= $54

Replacing the big bore baffle with a standard baffle= $100.25 shipped
(thanx DRVTWIN) should be delivered Wed the 22nd

I am gonna get a PCIII from fuel moto within the next month and i currently have an Arlen Ness Big Sucker so hopefully i feel some more power.

okay i got the the new baffle in and re wrapped the pipes from the bottom up.
removing heat shields

stockers off

new pipes on!!

Wow, nice job on the wrapping... almost looks like carbon fiber.

Cool pipes, I got a new set of chrome on close out from my dealer for $165. Still need to install them. How did your install go?

wrap looks good! how thick is the wrap? can you still put heat shields back on over them?
