They are just throw over.No zippers or snaps, the buckles are real.Didn't have to relocate the t/signals which is one reason
I chose these .
03,The bottom pic is with wild 1 chubby 502 12 1/2 inch bars. The top one is with their 16's. The Windvest is a 14x14.
I started out with the 12.5 bars but later moved on up.If you change ,get rid of the rubber riser mounts.

You may want to look at National Cycles DX windscreen. It comes in clear and smoke tint. It is small and detachable via a thumbwheel on each side. The widsheild can be removed in less than a minute and all that is left is a small black pvc bracket on either side of the bars. The hardware kit for that windsheild is referred to as AH for the 1.25" bars. In my opinion it is totally awesome, looks great cause it's so small, really suits the ape hangers, breaks the wind, and does not cause disturbance with wind baffling as some others do.

Madmech
I'm still confused on one piece. With the throw over style do you need to use the easy brackets? Thanks again for your help.

No brackets at all. They go over the rear fender under the passenger part of the seat.
