If they are too loud, try the quiet baffles. Thay are still loud but with a deeper tone. The baffles take out all the high notes and reduce decel gurgling substantially. Got them for $25 on eBay.

Love those pipes too.. got the same thing only I have the Python version.. I have wacked mine over into the twisties pretty hard and never dragged them.. and several times with a heavy passenger on the back.. they shouldnt drag all that much..

 

I have the same pipes. If you want a deeper tone and a little more tq and hp, get the Big City Monster baffles. They have a great sound. Take out the raspy sound of the BSS exhaust. The BCT monsters are not expensive and easy to install. The BCT people know their stuff and you get the product in a few days after you order. Of you decide to do this, get the baffles installed before you get a tune.
