Default Front brake on 09'SB sounds like a Locust?

Hey all, anyone else ever have their front brake make a Locust like noise when applied? It’s worse right after I wash it then gets quieter but never goes away completely. It started a while back but just now getting around to asking. Pretty weird sound but no loss in effectiveness of the brake or any other symptoms.
Thanks!

Normal, it is 'cause of the holes.

You might have a small gouge in your brake pad from dust or a stone or something. Had that problem on my rear brakes. Grind it out and spray some anti-squeak stuff on it.

I have heard that they sound similar to an 09 SB front brake, if that helps at all.

Here in Texas we call these locust, although that is not their technical name. The front rotors do make a sound that is normal but I don't think it quit sounds like a locust. Getting popped in the face by one at 75mph is an adventure.

My brakes blend in with the locusts in North Carolina, so I don't even notice.
