Front brake on 09'SB sounds like a Locust?

dont think i ever noticed this, if i start hearing locust every time i brake now... i will love this forum even more for all of the great things i sometimes think about out on the bike lol

Yeah, kind of freaked me out too at first. I don't think it has much to do with the holes though. All of my sportbikes have had drilled rotors and none of them sounded like that under braking.

Yup that's pretty much the sound I hear. The first time I heard it, it really did freak me out a little; riding in town and my head started spinning around looking for a fu#kin Locust. Then I remembered I live in Colorado. Ha ha ha!
