Default Short to Side Shots, need new dyno?

I've got Short Sshots on my '08 Bob. Power Commander and SE Heavy Breather. It's been tuned on the dyno. Question is, would I have to re-dyno if i change out to Side Shots??

Not an expert by no means, but it would be my guess that there will be a minor difference in the tuning of the pipes, but since they are both a short set of pipes there shouldnt be too much of difference in the mapping of the tuner.

Every time I look at my pipes funny, they start to pop on decel and need to be retuned. See how it runs You can download a map and that supposed to get you most of the way there.

Thanks for the input. I would think they'd be similar, but I know the side shots have the power chamber. Not sure if that matters.

I went from a D&D Fatcat quiet to Side Shots.

Bike did not run well, I used the map for Big Shots, since it also has the power chamber. No back fire at all.

You might want to save the current map of your power commander, and try the map for the big shots. If it doesn't work out, you can always load up the side shots map.

The only difference between short and side shots is that the sideshots have the power chamber. They are a one piece unit that connects together for better scavenging. Put them on and ride it, I'll bet it runs better than with the short shots.

Don't forget that you can also use the buttons to fine tune...they helped me dial in a generic map when I switched pipes and didn't want to spend the money on a new dyno.

Bike runs as strong as it did before.
