Hi, I just want to share... yesterday I put V&H Quiet Baffle on my Big Shots Staggered.

I encourage everyone to do it. Sound is excellent, deep bass sounds like a monster ... no more irritating high sounds and "strumming". I am very happy I did not expect such a drastic change in sound.

I love the sound too. But in addition, my bike ran better as the baffles fattened up the a/f mixture a little.

 

Could I just put exhaust tape on 3/4 length of my existing V&H baffles?

 

I put them in my Short Shots and think they sound good. I installed them when the pipes were new because I heard so much about how loud the Short Shots were supposed to be and how they did not have enough back pressure. Because I did it that way I do not know how loud the pipe are with the stock baffles.
