They are stock shocks that i cut down 1 inch and powder coated... i had the 11 progressives and they did not last but 4 months, the shock blew out blowing oil all over my bike, i called progressive and they basicly told me ooh well i can buy a new shock for $85 dollars but i have to dissassemble it and send it in... this is not a big deal cause i tear down shocks all the time. I asked to speak with someone higher and was told that was a manager, so i called bakc and this one hung up on me, granted individuals actions can not speak for a company, however it was enough for me. i was just amazed at how they did not stand behind their product, sad really cause i have sold a ton of their shocks now i push burley and any issues i have had they are right there to back up their product, for all custom shocks i recomend motorcycle metal Howard is flat out the man! My front end is still rocking progressive lowering springs, however for the rear i wanted to save some $ and show you can make you stock shocks cool, so i cut a coil out of mine and coated them
here where mine after i cut them and coated them
you can make stock shocks look pretty wicked

Go with 10.5's. If you like that low look i say it's win win. My wife and i ride a lot with the slammer kit and havent bottomed out yet. It's low dont get me wrong and if you do front and back your gonna need to bend or get a new kick stand. Here are a couple of mine with the front and rear slammer.

I guess I'm lame, but having been a racer, I like not dragging in corners and I like a nice smooth ride, so I went longer by 1/2" and now I don't drag in corners and the bumps are waaay less, on the fly. I now have 104k and still love my wg, it handles great. I am 63 so that probably has something to do with it, lol
