Just curious if you had any rubbing issues with the front pipe and the bar for the brake on your forward controls?
Mine was rubbing so I had to do a white trash repair and offset the brake bar (not sure on the actual name for it).

Here are two pics, one of what was rubbing and one of what I did to eliminate it. I bought a 1/4-20 x 1 3/4" bolt, lock nut and jam nut and 5 #12 regular washers. Not the best looking fix, but it works and eliminates the rubbing problem.
(not sure why the attached photos are upside down)
