Default Hazy/cloudy speedometer glass

About a month ago, I left the metric world and bought a '07 Low Rider. I love the bike and am sorry that the riding season in New England is just about over until next Spring. The bike is immaculate with only 4100 miles on it.

The glass lenses covering the speedometer and tach are hazy and since I have been unable to clean it, the haze is on the inside of the glass. I saw a thread on this forum that discussed a similar problem in 2007, but that problem had to do with moisture getting inside. The dealers we replacing the entire units on bikes under warranty but it never solved the problem. Is there an easy way to remove the glass so that it can be cleaned? They are both readable but they are obviously not as clear as they should be.
