Item G on page 177, third item down, in the 2010 P&A Catalog from Harley Davidson. Used the p/n 49080-03A on my 02 Superglide and on my 05 Lowrider. FYI 99'-05' Dyna's shared a lot of parts and that makes a lot of parts interchangeble. The odd ball items are seats and some electrics. Good luck on your mods.

Default How do you measure risers?

One of the things I don't like on the bike are the aluminum bar risers. They look like crap compared to all the chrome around them. I am unsure if I need 4", 4.5" or 6" replacements. The Harley direct replacements in chrome are listed as 4.5" but look a lot shorter in Harley's photo than what's on the bike. Here is what's on the bike:

Here's what Harley says is a direct replacement:

They look too short.

I think I will be ok with the factory extended ones. found them at Chicago Harley Davidson online for $279.96 That seems like a pretty good price. Also seriously considering that Mustang wide solo seat with the detachable backrest. I initially didn't want a backrest, but it would be nice to have the option to put it on for long highway rides. Pretty expensive though at over $400 with the backrest. Thanks for all the help.
Check out Surdyke HD at http://www.surdyke.com/

They sent me an email the other day for 30% off HD accessories and free shipping over $150. I have bought many things from them. Great dealership.

Can you send me a PM with the info? I checked their site and could not find the deal you are getting. Thanks.

The deal may have only been available through the email I had or something to that effect. I will have to look at it again when I get home from work. If you can PM me your email address, I will forward the email I have to you.

I went with the forward controls. I LOVE them. I would also go with a corbon seat. they got a 2 passenger design that has a backrest that can be switched from passenger to driver so you can ride solo in comfort.

I don't know if it is your settings or mine but I don't see an option to send you a message when I clck on your profile. I see it on others, including my own, but not yours. Can anyone help me out with this?

You might need a certain number of posts before you get PM ability. I will send you one with my email address and some info when I get home in about 6 hours.

I went with C&C's Fastback 2up seat and couldn't be happier. (See my gallery pics) It is 1" lower and farther back than standard and has 6" of back support. I also have the gel option. I'm 6'2" and the HD forward controls position my feet like sitting in a chair. I wouldn't spend the extra cash for extended ones at this point but would if I had mid controls.
