Bagger fender setup for a wideglide forks

I used that fender last year. Got it on ebay and sold it on ebay. I decided to go with the full Heritage fender. The Dyna bags were just something to use til I found what I wanted. Here's a pic of it with a 19 wheel. The 19 does not ride on the longer axle in the correct places.
Bike is at paint now. New pics soon, I hope.

No probs with the fender. Perfect fit. When I started the FL-Dyna build I had plans for a Heritage fender but I got sidetracked by the taller/narrower front tire look that is getting popular with the FL people. My local bike/machine shop had a disk spacer that required very little machine work to make the disk line up with the caliper. The shop also made the axle/wheel spacers. I didn't like the look so I went with my orignal plans.
To get the 19 wheel to fit correctly a custom axle would need to be found or made. Axles have raised areas for the wheel bearings to ride on. Harley does not put a 19" wheel on a wide front.

Man I wish we had shops doing the quality of work you are. It's almost worth the postage from aus and back. Sorry for the side track. I look forward to seeing the fender on Joe, I think it's gonna look great with the 21".

Mounted up the fender today, and took it back off so it can be powdercoated and put the emblems on before final install.
I thought the spacers were polished aluminum, but actually they are chromed steel.
Here are some pics of the fender on the bike.
The edges of this fender were RAZOR SHARP! I filed them all down, and sanded them with 150 grit iron oxide sandpaper to get them where they are supposed to be.
I'll post pics again when it's all done.
