Default Quarter Fairing

So I will be buying the HD Quarter fairing for myself this X-mas, see: http://www.harley-davidson.com/gma/g...bmLocale=en_US

I have a couple of questions to the guys that have one

1. I have 2010 fxd the part number says 95-05 dynas but i see alot of people with them so I assume it will be a good fit ?

2. I do not want the detachable mounting hardware I would rather it be permently attached any suggestions?

Befor ya get the HD one, Look at the Roadster fairing from Rifle.com
Its a heck of a lot cheaper and you get everything needed, and it dose come with 49mm hardware.

Check these guys out . They are qd's but you obviously wouldn't have to use them as such . And....the price is good .

If I used that and I switched to a single head light shouldn't that fit my Fat Bob?

I don't know, but can't someone answer his f**king question instead of diverting him onto your latest favorite fad that you're not even really sure about ?

Good grief.

This set up is not Quick Detach.
Call Benito at http://www.thunderroadmotorcycles.net/
He got me the color matched Harley fairing for the same price Harley charges and he fabricates the brackets. The brackets cost around a $175 or so. If I remember right Harley says if you want color matched its like a 6 week wait. I got mine shipped from Benito in about 2-3 weeks. That was back in 2008. From the website it looks like he still sells the fairing bracket combo. Give him a call to make sure they work with 2010 risers. If you all ready have the fairing I'm pretty sure he'll sell the brackets.
