my wife also in not a fan of this bike. Anyone have a solution? Also, the stock seat is horrible for the passenger so I got a corbin. much better, but now the backrest is several inches shorter and less comfortable for a passenger. maybe her own bike is the solution.
Well, I had the kury ISO dually pegs which was better, boots a little better still but still not acceptable IMO. I was on a ride sans passenger luckily and one of the dually's fell off........folks behind thought someone dropped a camera - LOL I bought anther set but didn't get around to putting them on. Then I decided to try footboards so I took the dually's back to the dealer and had them order me FB brackets and found some touring FB's on craigs for $75 so now we'll see if these are any better or worse.
Take a look at how the older Dyns'a had the rear pegs mounted to the frame. You can easily fabricate those mounts. I do not know why they went to this stupid design. Guess they thought only one person would be riding the Dyna for any length of time.
btw I saw a couple people in previous posts tried the floor boards and it doesn't seem to help enough.
My wife says it's a night and day change when I put the boards on for her. She's had surgery on her knee and ankle which caused her problems with the pegs. After the switch the issues were minimal, she still dis-likes the boards moving independantly from the seat (maybe be part of the vertigo???) but no more complaints of vibration.
