Just curious how the HD products combine did.

At 6,000 feet above sea level my stock dyno came in at 68hp and 81ft/lbs tq.

After installation of a Stage II Arlen Ness Big Sucker intake, Rinehart Cross-back exhaust followed by a DirectLink Tune - 79hp and 91 ft/lbs tq.
I don't know what the stock numbers were because I had the Heavy Breather, Crossbacks, and SEST installed before picking up. The dealer I purchased the bike from doesn't have a dyno so they put together the best map they could based on the parts. That is why I took it to a dyno shop after a few months of riding.

The before and after runs didn't have a huge seperation through most of the curve, but I gained 4 hp and 10 ft/lbs tq. up until 2000, ran pretty much in line with the custom map the dealer put together until about 4500, where I lost a few hp and ft/lbs tq. The explaination on the numbers falling off at the end of the curve was because the bike was running lean and way too hot in the higher rpms and you don't spend enough time above 4500 to realize a benefit. I was told it's better for the longevity of the engine.

Max numbers were 82 hp and 100 ft/lbs tq.

I called them about mine and they told me that I can only get new black ones for half price ($90). Guess its better than nothing.

I still think they are the best sounding pipes out there!

You must have more done to your bike then just an air filter and pipes to be getting 100 ft/lbs of torque right? Because that is what people get after doing head and/or cylinder work on their bike along with new cams. Are you getting 100 ft/lbs on a stock motor?
