Ape hangers for new Street Bob
#13
I just put on the drag specialties narow glide 18" apes. i love them!!!! Dont have the grips on yet. and I need throttle cables. You can see in the one pic, my new Suicide shifter hanging next to the bike!! So, no clutch cable.
Anyway, they kind of stay narrow, not like the burly apes. I like both though!!

You posted your question in 2 different threads so I answered in both!!!!
Check these out (Paughco Straight Apes).... I'm thinking about getting them. A bit of a different look with the vertical rise - and the price is definitely right ($67 for the 13 or 16 inchers)
1" ‘Straight Ape’ Handlebars
All-new straight and parallel rise apehanger handlebars from Paughco. The rise portion of these 1"-diameter handlebars is designed to follow the fork lines on straight up. Made from .095" wall tubing and chrome-plated to the usual high Paughco standard. Available undimpled for custom applications and dimpled for use with 1982-up handlebar controls. The 5½" center width works for all stock risers on 3½" centers.
Without Dimples
These handlebars have an 5½" center width, and a 5½" pullback. They will not work with Dog Bone-style risers.
HS31 13" tall and 34" end-to-end $52.95
HS30 16" tall and 34" end-to-end $52.95
HS29 20" tall and 34" end-to-end $92.95
With Dimples (not shown)

The clamps for the handlebars are built into the top fork clamp. Integrated risers. The Wild 1's I put on are 1 1/4" instead of the 1" that came off as well as being completely horizontal at the base. The stock bars had a curve at the base which helped to clear the fork tube nuts at the top. I lowered the fork tubes lower in the trees to so that the new bars would clear. Hope that makes sense.

my sig pic shows 16" 1.25" narrow apes with 3" 1.25" risers from Hill Country. They'll tell you what cable lengths you need depending on your model/year.
look it all up on here and do it yourself (save a brick of money), thats what I did and couldn't be happier.
oh, and if you do get apes, swap out those crap stock bushings for poly bushings
