Default What glue to use on new metal grips

Hey guys, I'm trying to install my new metal grips into my bars and was wondering what the best method for gluing the clutch side metal to metal is. Thanks!

I used this stuff, but to me, it looks and smells exactly like plain old rubber cement.

Do you always have to glue the grip on? When I replaced my grips I did not glue them since I figured I would probably change them again someday. So far I have not had any problems...but am interested in what has or could happen.

If you don't want to use glue try some wrap they use for golf club grips.

I asked the dealer what they use a couple weeks back, and they said gorilla glue as well.

You need to use some Thread Locker on the screws - I would suggest not using Red, but I believe there is Blue and I read also there is Purple. I use it on my very small allen screws for bar-end turn signals.

They have not fallen out and the turn signal does not spin in circles or hang by the wires. lol
