Yeah, that's what I said.... but that's all you need tread for..otherwise you get way more traction without tread.. i.e. Race Slicks.. (no tread)

I have raced in the rain (on slicks) pretty sure I can handle a twisty road...

I have 22K on the front and it's still in good shape. The rear has about 8K.

I only get 3000 out of a set of SE Dunlops. Bald and cupped on the sides. I run the crap out of my bike. We also have some of the best curves in Nor Ca

Seriously I get about 2000 miles out of a rear and I got near 6 out of the front... you guys need to step yalls riding up a notch

Stock Dunlop on 09' SB. Got about 5500 on the rear and it was close enough, but just too make sure a good burnout helped (it was bald). I also ride year around.

You sure the grooves on an oval shaped motorcycle tire are for the rain? Not sure were you read that. None of mine are in a straight line. I though they were for traction in the snow.

Your tires are oval shaped !! must be a bich to balance 'dem bad boys !

All this time I've been buying these cheap ROUND tires.. what a rip off.

bald tires are easier to stud for the snow too !!! lol

i am getting smarter now. know tires r round and you replace them some time after you have a least two sets of cord showing but not 9
