If I may, let me give you some advice on your bag project:
1. Join the Dyna FL social group we have on here...PLEASE. we are creating a group within the group!
2. Review my thread where I put my bags on.
3. it is DAMN important, that you reinforce the bags on the inside. where they bolt up to the bike and on the inside, you need to use steel to "sandwich" the fiberglass...otherwise the bags WILL CRACK!
4. "jackyl" on here, sells a bracket for putting a tourpak on for 2-up riding. He sells them on eBay for around 40 bucks. one fo the posts above, a guy has a pic where he used this bracket with a tour pak....check it out!
5. I wish I had your lowrider tank! MY bags are FLH repops...you have real ones! Good score! If I find a TourPak for a decent deal, I'll let you know!

looks good Joe! a back rest pad is a must, i think you may end up movingit back a bit once you get the pad, i know in my mock up after i put the pad on mine i had to move it almost 3 inches further back... how is getting into the bags with the trunk on there? i redid al my latches on mine and i have to lift it strait up on the back of mine to get the lid off, may be the angle but it looks like that would hit on your set up

There is ALOT of slack in these hinges. To those who have never seen these hinges...they only "hook" together....they are EASILY rotated around. I know that by looking at the pics, it is natural to be skeptical, but I tell you, IT WORKS! I'm not going to tell you that you don't have to take it easy when you open them, but it is VERY doable.
