I'm returning the white set because seller says they were fiberglass. they were not and they were plastic. I can work with fiberglass and repair them better than molded plastic. The second set should be coming within a day or two. It's a lot easier on my wallet this way. I would not have bidded on these items if knowing they were made of plastic.

fiberglass repair is easy... make a bondo and fiberglass milk shake. spread it out on the part, wait till it is about 80% dry and then use a course sanding block to knock it down, after it dries then you can block it... i do it all the time on custom cafe seats... comes out wicked

I absolutely agree. I've repaired alot of bike fairings and bags before painting for customers. With plastics , it's difficult unless you buy a plastic repair kit with a Hot,Hot heat gun and plastic welding rods. I'm not interested in going that rout at all. Second set will be here in a few days. I'll see how they look. I held them next to the bike and I must say its the look I was looking for.
I'm thinking of bracket mounting for a snugg fit. we'll see.

It's all about the Dollars and I can restore them to a new-like condition. I also like that they came from a vintage Harley.

I got these FL bags on ebay for $200. All I did was put good locks on them. Decided to go with a different look. Sold them for $280. I'm keepin' the tour pak for later Shovel mods.
