I was bored tonight and uncovered the Street Bob to see what I can do to it.
1st remove decals from right side down tube on the frame.

Next I plan to cut the rear fender and struts over the winter and I have a 2009 Cross Bones rim/tire set up (200mm tire) I will install, but for now I removed the blinkers and brake light to paint black. I cut off the plate bracket from the brake light and relocated the plate to the side of my primary.

I have no pics of the turn and brake lights since Iam painting them but I will have some pics tomm after I reinstall them.
I understand my plate is big time no no and the police might not like where it is located but the 10+ years I have been riding with bikes with moded plate I never received a ticket for plate location![Icon Steer](https://www.hdforums.com/forum/images/smilies/icon_steer.gif)
More pics to come.
Thanks
Erik

I'll let you know when I remove the stock wheel/tire set up. Probably in a month.

If you want to keep it simple and clean, you can add a few of the LED bolts for the plate...like these:

Just scroll down a bit, they are the first product.

I don't know about your state but in CA. the plates are reflective and even though a plate light is required when they pull up behind you at night their lights are lighting up the plate so it's damn near impossible to tell whether you have one or not.I've run several bikes without one and never been bothered.
