Looks good Chop, to bad the color didn't match. So is that the complete CV system, bags and brackets? Everyday, I think more and more about going that way…piece by piece.

Yeah ...

CV7405B bracket - $248 from M&M
CV7410-CV7411 bags - $600 from Direct Harley Parts
ABS lids - $108 from CaliBikerClub (I think)
hardware for the lids - $164 from fairingfactoryus
latch covers $25 e-bay
locks from New Castle $40
latch trim (to replace reflectors) - $25 e-bay
paint $300

... just a shade over $1,500, all in ... so far, I am not experiencing any 'buyer's remorse' ... LoL

Thanks guys ...

Tim ... good seeing you last week at the Long Beach swap meet ... with the rear fender rack I am using, it obstructs the quick detach side plates ... so, I'll have to address that issue before I can proceed with the Tour Pak ... so, probably won't happen for several months ... if ever ...

Chop, can you post some pics from the rear? I'd like to see what the spacing looks like.

From the rear, I don't think it is inordinately far from the fender ... I am using the 'stand off' mounts for quick detach back rest/rack, etc. ...

I'm pretty pleased with the way it has turned out ...

Hope you find this helpful ...

I just got the cross-brace support installed today ...

I had taken a stab at it a couple of weeks ago ... adapting the cross-brace from my old bag frame ... the angle brackets I had fabricated for the setup cracked from the vibration ... so, it was back to the drawing board ...

I had cut off the tabs on the frame designed to support the cross-brace ... they are placed for the short Super Glide fender ... so, they wouldn't work with my setup ...

I made some kind of isoceles triangle-shaped tabs to mount at the bottom of the frame so the cross-brace would be at the lower edge of my fender ...

I think this is going to work well ... it is really solid ...
