Great offer on the BB. Now I only need to buy a TC88. I have been lookin' at Heritages lately. I've never owned a softail and have a few modest ideas that concern a batwing fairing that happens to be hanging in the shop. But the Project Street Bob comes first.

I would like to see a detailed write up as well. I have a 103" kit still in the box for my 2007 fxdc and a service manual but have not had the courage to install it by myself.

I just got home. I took a ton of pics. We have the bike torn down and got the cams back in and ran out of daylight and energy. Tomorrow the cylinders, heads rocker boxes, etc will all go back together along with a jet kit as this bike had a 27 pilot jet and a 190 main. Plus, the mixture screw had never even been drilled out. I have a feeling this bike is really going to fly when done. i wont post any pics or anything until at least Sunday, more likely Monday.

A few tear down pics. I don't have time to write the full description right now.

Interesting stuff, Drew! It's nice to see how it looks for real inside the engine.

In combination with the parts catalog and the service manual, this kind of images are a perfect source of info.

Thanks for sharing, bro!
