Default Any one use novello innovations wiring harness extension kit>?

I am going to install taller apes and will be extending my wiring, I found in J&P the novello innovations wiring extension kit that comes with the plug already assembled on the end so all you have to do is take your factory plug apart and don't have to mess with putting it back together and getting the wires in the right spot. Has any one used this kit or know anything more that might be good to know?

I used it on my 2000 rk when I put 16 inch apes on it, well worth it, all the wires are color coded with the proper ends on them, I had it wired up in under a half hour if I recall, I would use them again if I needed to

I have used their extension kits twice now and would use them again, makes the job easy. Worth the price IMO

So I see there are two schools for internal wiring. One routes the wire in the bars as is, the other shrink wraps the bundle before routing. Which school are you and why?
