You can always wire it to an accessories fuse and ground to the frame. No cutting or tapping and can be taken off quickly. Works just as good as tapping and is fused.

The CAC is fused as well. I think this will be the cleanest and easiest set up. Run the two wires from the plate to the 4 pin and plug it up....done.
